Join Aimee Rai & some of her esteemed team including author and renowned contemplative psychotherapist Dr Miles Neale and Naomi Tolsen - “The Psychedelic Doula” trained with The Microdosing Institute, for a special day exploring and expanding how we can best support preparation and integration of psychedelic experience for those we have the privilege of holding in our therapeutic spaces.

This CPD certificate workshop is suitable for all those in the therapeutic fields and healing/helping professions, those in training, and those interested to learn more about truly safe and effective psychedelic process.

Whether or not we have a direct interest in psychedelic experience and its psychological and spiritual medicinal potential, it remains true that an increasing number of clients who show up in our spaces will independently enter in to psychedelic experience. Some may even enter our care off the back of psychedelic experience directly.

The way we invite, hold and support the necessary preparation and integration of that experience has the potential to be as vital and healing as the psychedelic experience in itself. It also has the capacity to be as damaging. In fact, we would suggest that it is usually the lack of appropriate and skill-full preparation and integration that leaves people vulnerable to negative outcomes. With right process, even the most challenging of psychedelic experience retains its healing potential. Learning how to meet those we care for around such experiences in a manner that is considered, informed and heartfelt, is essential.

This workshop will focus on

 how vital preparation and integration are for successful psychedelic outcomes, what those processes look like and how proper preparation and integration is in many ways contra to the process that is being commonly sold in the psycho/spiritual marketplace

Drawing on a combined 40 years of experience holding therapeutic and spiritual spaces for others, Miles and Aimee will, over 4 hours, expertly unpack themes such as:

◆︎ risk assessment
◆︎ supporting discernment
◆︎ client suitability
◆︎ ethics and counter-transference
◆︎ trauma informed and somatically oriented process
◆︎ the role of mythopoetic and symbolic language
◆︎ interpretation and analysis of psychedelic experience
◆︎ the potency and potential of psychedelic medicines as well as its risks, dangers and undeniable shadow
◆︎ includes ample time for discussion and Q&A


Later in the day we are fortunate to have Naomi Tolsen trained with The Microdosing Institute offer a specialist additional 2 hour session around:

◆︎ includes time for Q&A

Aimee Rai is the founder of ISOHH and is an Integrative Therapist and Holistic Practitioner specialising in trauma and somatics. As a long term practioner of classical tantra, all her work has a deeply transpersonal tone, weaving science and psychology with ancient wisdom and the body based arts.

Dr. Miles Neale is a Buddhist Therapist, Author with Sounds True and Inner Traditions, as well as a Pilgrimage Guide. Over the past twenty-five years, Miles has fused Eastern spirituality with Western psychology.

Naomi Tolsen is trained with The Microdosing Institute & as a Trauma Informed Somatic Counseler. She supports people through psychedelic experiences in groups and privates.

Disclaimer: It is important to note that neither the school ISOHH Ltd nor the teaching faculty directly encourage the use of psychedelic or illegal substances. This training simply acknowledges that client use of such substances is dramatically increasing and the need for guidance as to how to receive and support such experience in therapeutic roles and spaces is vital. This workshop does not offer training in how to support psychedelic experience directly, but in how to receive people artfully both pre and post psychedelic experience.
